The problem is caused by specially ACL permissions being applied to the root "TEAM SITE" folder on your computer note this has nothing to do with "SharePoint" permissions, I'm talking about macOS folder/file permissions. If you inspect the folder/file using the "Get Info" menu option in the Finder you'll see permissions like this (see screenshot below). ![]() ![]() That "Custom" permission breaks One Drive's access to the folder. My guess is that is cause by a bug in a previous or current version of the One Drive app. Unfortunately, using the Finder to reset the permissions or deleting and re-downloading the folder is only a temporary fix, since the ACL permissions will be copied back from a hidden file macOS uses to store ACL permissions. Try resetting the folder permissions by clearing the ACL folder permissions this should clear the externally stored ACL permissions.
